The 7 aspects — how planets talk to each other.

If signs are how a planet behaves and houses are where, aspects are who they're talking to. The geometry of the chart. The shape of your inner conversation.

What is an aspect?

An aspect is the angle between two planets in your chart. Some angles produce friction. Some produce flow. Some fuse two energies into one. Together, the aspects in your chart describe the inner geometry of who you are — the way your planets cooperate or argue or merge.

Soft aspects (trine 120°, sextile 60°) are the gifts — the things that come naturally, the talents you were born with. Use them or they atrophy.

Hard aspects (square 90°, opposition 180°) are the growth edges — the friction that builds character. Painful in the moment, defining over a lifetime.

The conjunction (0°) fuses two planets into one voice — your strongest, most identity-shaping placements. The quincunx (150°) and semi-sextile (30°) are the awkward, adjusting aspects — the ongoing micro-corrections.
