What Cerato actually treats

Cerato is Bach's remedy for the person who already knows but cannot trust their knowing. They ask everyone. They poll the friends, the family, the internet. They take the advice that contradicts what they already felt — and then regret it. Bach saw the Cerato state as a kind of self-betrayal: the inner voice is intact, but its authority has been handed away. The remedy returns inner authority to its rightful owner.

The state it meets

Constant advice-seeking. Polling everyone before a decision. Discounting your own gut in favor of others' opinions. Regretting the decision afterward because it was not actually yours.

The shift it brings

Inner authority restored. The capacity to consult others without being overridden by them. Your own knowing becomes the home base, with outside input as data, not verdict.

In love

Cerato in love is the partner who polls every friend about the relationship before bringing the question to the partner. The work is to trust what you already feel about this person enough to bring it directly to them.

In work

Cerato in work is the operator who knows the right call but seeks twelve opinions before making it — and ends up making the seventh opinion's call, not their own. The remedy supports the move to decisive ownership.

A 5-minute practice

Before consulting anyone, write down your own first answer to the question. Seal it. Consult if you must. Then compare. If you keep overriding your sealed answer, the work is to honor it more often, not to consult less.
