How to use this page
Looking for the right mantra for your moment? Click any of the 12 below. Every page has the actual *meaning* (the tradition and the translation), what the mantra *does*, *how to chant it* (concrete practice — pace, posture, count), what it means in love and in work, the *gift* it teaches, the *shadow* (mantra-as-decoration is named where relevant), and pair-with cards for chakra, sound (Phase 1A audio), and zodiac.
The three families. The 12 mantras cluster naturally. Seed (Om, So Hum, Sat Nam) is the bija family — the foundational sounds the breath and consciousness make. Heart (Om Mani Padme Hum, Lokah Samastah, Tara, Shanti) is the compassion family — the practice of widening the heart. Power (Gayatri, Om Namah Shivaya, Ganesha, Hare Krishna, Om Ah Hum) is the devotion family — alignment to a specific awakened-form for help, beginnings, illumination, surrender, integration.
Mantras are gifts from living traditions. Each page names the lineage, the source text where possible, and where the mantra has been culturally restricted. Reclaim the mantra by chanting it; treat the lineage with respect; allow the practice to land in the body before treating it as decoration.
